Europe’s leading annual gathering of the blue light sector is around the corner, with The Emergency Services Show 2025 taking place in September.
People with a diverse range of interests – from police, fire and rescue, ambulance, and search and rescue – will all be in attendance at the event, ready to share the latest and greatest knowledge and innovation on protecting the public. As well as these statutory emergency services, voluntary and support organisations will also be represented at the show to bring together comprehensive coverage of all those who dedicate themselves to saving lives.
Over 16,000 visitors are expected at the NEC in Birmingham next month, joining under one roof at the UK’s largest event space. Here, they will have access to more than 500 exhibitors, live demonstrations, CPD content stages and networking sessions across two action-packed days, with content set to shape best practice on the frontline for years to come.
As the National Police Healthcare Scheme (NPHS) gears up to appear at the show, we preview what’s in store at a must-attend occasion for many.

What to expect from the event
Every year, The Emergency Services Show provides an opportunity like no other to discover the technology, strategies and expertise making waves throughout the sector. For policing, this could mean the chance to see equipment and resources up close, designed to enhance operations from major incidents to routine patrols and everything in between. There is also the possibility of building knowledge, exchanging intelligence and improving multi-agency partnerships through connections made across the two days.
These experiences will be realised through an exhibition programme featuring a collaboration zone, live demonstrations, networking sessions, panel shows and – new for 2025 – an Immersive Skills Lab, which will explore how digital innovation is transforming the way emergency responders train.
This is in addition to over 50 CPD-accredited conference sessions, where audiences can look forward to an agenda covering the following:

Stages
Despite the show’s large size and scale, a small variety of stages means visitors will still be able to take in many sessions of their choice. This year, a brand-new platform brings with it a new theme, with the Protecting the Protectors Stage set to introduce a welcome emphasis on the safety, wellbeing and resilience of frontline workers.
Other key focuses of the event include the #SheServesToo campaign, which shines a light on the inspirational women of the emergency services, and Unsung Heroes, a feature where attendees can nominate a colleague who has made a meaningful difference to their work life for recognition at an onsite celebration.
And the action doesn’t end within four walls at The Emergency Services Show, as an outdoor vehicle demo area returns for 2025. This unmissable feature will see operational equipment and specialist vehicles from leading suppliers put to the test in realistic emergency response scenarios.
The NHPS’ home for the show will be at Stand C7Z6 in Hall 5, where our team will be on hand to showcase how we can support Police Officers, Police Staff, and the wider Police Family’.
Who is the event for?
The Emergency Services Show is an industry-exclusive event for the emergency services, where workers of all ranks, roles and responsibilities are welcome. Key decision makers and procurement leads typically get a lot out of the event, but it also draws in plenty of training leads, line managers and frontline responders year after year.
Alongside The Emergency Services Show, The Emergency Tech Show will be co-located at the NEC, Birmingham on 17 and 18 September, looking at the tools and breakthroughs behind the sector’s progression in even greater detail. With over 150 exhibitors and 8000 attendees of its own, this additional show will bring more than 500 tech solutions to an expectant audience.
Tickets to both events are completely free and can be secured through online registration, guaranteeing entry to all exhibition areas, conference sessions, demonstration areas and features.
