NPHS thanked for supporting hockey championship

The competition secretary of PSUK Women’s Hockey, Janice Hutton, has expressed her thanks to the National Police Healthcare Scheme (NPHS) for their valued support of this year’s Women’s Hockey Championship which are taking place this week.

Teams from Cheshire, Devon and Cornwall, Essex, Kent, Merseyside, the Metropolitan Police, Northumbria, PSNI, Scotland, and West Midlands are all set to compete.

The NPHS has purchased the medals and trophies for the tournament – as modelled here by Janice’s pet pooch, Arthur.

NPHS CEO Jim Gray said: “We are proud to support events like these – events that help to promote physical wellbeing, teamwork, and camaraderie across the police service. 

“These opportunities are vital in supporting both the mental and physical health of officers and staff, while bringing colleagues together from across the UK.

“We would like to wish all participants the very best of luck.”
